My Life in Blog Form: 04/06/2025
Hey!
Jesus.
I'm sorry that it's been a little while.
Life has been insane and poetry has been written but very much in the background.
I started a new job at a leisure centre selling memberships but soon figured that wasn't me and went for the duty manager job for the same company and got it. Woo.
Kind of crazy to sit and think my life is working out okay for a 23 year old.
The third poetry book is in the works and it's titled 'Fly on the Wall'
So that is super duper exciting.
In other poetry news I created a local poetry night called 'Rushden Rhyme'. October was the first month and since then it's just got better and better. We had the BBC come and interview me both in person and on the radio. So if you type in Rushden Rhymes on google then our little town is famous.
I had a second interview with BBC radio recently too so it doesn't stop.
Writing workshops should be on the cards soon and my pal and I are hoping to start running some joint ones as the rent is a bit pricey, so we can split costs together. more on that soon.
As well as writing and working at a leisure centre I've found a new love for fitness. I've been lifting weights and loving life.
We adopted some lovely black cats from Cats Protection and I also now have Smokie - Joe who was my dads cat. So 3 cats and an empty bank account. HA!
Just kidding I love them all dearly!
Any way,
Speak soon (I will I have a new desktop computer)
Jazmine :)
