A Recurring Dream

I’ve not told many 

About this recurring dream

It’s something that

Came out of nowhere 

It started haunting me 

It involved my dad 

The same thing happened

But was set in a different scene

My poor dad would kill himself

Right in front of me 

 

I had this dream often 

& wondered when it would stop

Then my dad died for real this time

 

& since then

This recurring dream

Has stopped
