Rushden Rhymes: Why I've Started It

Hello everyone!

I’m Jazmine.
I’m a self published poet and spoken word artist from Rushden. There wasn’t enough ‘local’ spoken word nights… So, I started one.

Rushden Rhymes is located at Scribble Studio and takes place on the last Friday of every month.
7-9PM
Scribble Studio Rushden If you would like to perform your own poems, meet like minded individuals or just have a sit and listen. Feel free to come along.

We’re a friendly, non judgemental bunch. In a warm & comfortaing creative space.
There will be free tea and coffee available as well a toilet which is very important if you’re like me and drink your body weight in coffee…

There is no bar but you are allowed to bring whatever you’d like to drink: water, vodka, beer, wine… Alcohol is allowed on the premises to get you over the performance anxiety.

Please be aware there are stairs to the venue, so unfortunately isn’t accessible to wheelchair users.
