They sit in silence

Peering at the menu

He goes to the bar

And comes back with two pints.

She gets up and leaves to go to the toilet 

He gets up when she comes back to get salt and vinegar

She gets up when he comes back to get brown sauce

Once they’ve finished avoiding one another

They pull out their phones and scroll through Facebook
