Fly on the wall
Fly on the wall
I'd love to be a fly on the wall
Is something I always say
My nan actually taught me the phrase
And still uses it to this day
The more I think about it in detail
I seem to love it more
How much a fly can see
When it is perched on a wall
But a fly is seen as a pest
Especially in Nan's house
The hoover goes on and believe me
She'd burn it to the ground
So when we say we'd love to be a fly on the wall What I really mean to say is I'd love to observe yet be unseen and invisible
